St Brelades Bay

I’ve found my slice of Jersey paradise.

Hayley on St Brelades Beach

On our last night in Jersey we headed back to the stunning St Brelades Bay.

We spent the last few hours of sunlight wandering and exploring the bay.
Our wanderings took us to one of the prettiest churches I’ve seen.
Then back down to the pier.

Up a few rocky steps to a look out point, perfect for taking pictures!

We strolled back along the beach breathing in the fresh sea air.

We then realised all the sea air was making us hungry!

So we made our way to The Oyster Box.

We were given a table over looking the bay.

The menu was packed full of delicious sounding fish.

I eventually decided on Saute Lemon Sole Fillet, crab & crushed Jersey Royals & chive butter.

He decided on Saute Wild Bass Fillet with lobster & chive linguine with spinach.

Both were exquisite.

So were the place mats!

We pondered over the dessert menu.

The selection of sweets all sounded fabulous and fancy but none were what we fancied. We wanted simple!

So we finished off our wine, settled the bill and slipped out back onto the beach.

We headed straight to another restaurant a few doors down that did takeaway desserts! We grabbed a tiramisu for him and a fruit cheesecake for me.

We made ourselves at home on the beach and watched the gorgeous colours in the sky change whilst polishing off our sweets!

We watched the sun set on St Brelades Bay….

….& on our stay in Jersey.
