A spicy snack that is super easy to make and extremely healthy to eat.
Packed full of essential fats, vitamins, minerals and a fiery kick of chilli, this is a snack and a half!
Spicy Seed Mix
300g seed mixture (I used pumpkin, flaxseed & sunflower)
1-2 tbsp harissa paste
Simply preheat the oven to 160C/140C fan. Leave the tray in the oven as it is heating up.
Tip all the ingredients into a bowl and mix until all the seeds are evenly coated.
Take the tray out of the oven then spread the seeds out into a single layer onto the tray and bake in the oven for 15-20 mins.
When ready, leave to cool then tip into an airtight container to store.
These will keep for about 2 weeks.
They are great sprinkled on salads, soups, lentil dishes and more.
Or just grab a handful and munch away to your hearts’ content.
