Well these sweet treats give you that kick of energy alongside a good dose of protein.
Perfect post workout or as an occasional snack.
Who needs the empty calories and sugar spikes from chocolate and sweets?
Peanut Butter Power Balls
125g pitted dates
40g cocoa powder / raw cacao powder
60g crunchy peanut butter
2tsp runny honey
1.Put the dates and cocoa powder into a food processor and pulse for a few seconds until the dates have started to break down.
2.Add in the peanut butter and pulse again.
3.Drissle in the honey & blitz away until all combined and the nuts & dates are broken up into small pieces but not completely obliterated!
4.Take appoximately a tablespoon of the mixture and roll into a ball. Make about 10 balls.
5.Leave them to firm up in the fridge or enjoy straight away the choice is yours!
