Keswick is a beautiful town nestled in the mountains.
We were so excited to get back to Keswick.
Our lunch was already planned so we knew we had to work up an appetite. Without further ado we set off for a 6 mile(ish) walk to Castlerigg Stone Circle.
Unfortunately I couldn’t get a good picture of the circle due to too many people! But here’s one I took at Christmas many years ago…

All that stomping over hills definitely worked us up an appetite!
After a quick change we headed straight to The Lakes Bar and Bistro. For a delicious spread of pizza…
And steak ciabatta.
We wolfed down our food.
Then headed out to Keswick market that had some lovely looking produce and some interesting stalls.
Our stroll continued…..
We finished up at Fitz Park.
Were we decided to play lawn tennis.
I unfortunately got thrashed! But had fun trying!
After our time on the court was up we realised that our day in Keswick was also coming to an end.
We begrudgingly left Keswick and headed home to our lodge to recover ready for our last day in the lakes.
What a stunning place!
